Roy Trivett, CEO / Director

Mr. Trivett has been a Director of Visiphor since March 2002, and in July of 2003 he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Trivett has an extensive entrepreneurial background and has achieved notable success in hardware and software industries. He brings a wealth of experience in building and operating successful software companies, including co-founding and expanding Architel Systems Corporation into an international telecommunications software company that was acquired by Nortel Networks for in excess of $600 million. Mr. Trivett is a Professional Engineer and holds a Masters degree in systems engineering from Carleton University.

Sunil Amin , CFO

Mr. Amin has been with Visiphor Corporation since August 2006 and has served as Visiphor’s Controller from August 2006 to February 2007, at which time he was appointed Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Visiphor Corporation, Mr. Amin spent a few years with Stockgroup Information Systems Inc. which is a leading financial media company focused on user-generated content and collaborative technologies.  At the time of his departure Mr. Amin was the Controller and in charge of the day to day financial function. Prior to Stockgroup Information Systems, Mr. Amin was involved with financial services at TD Canada Trust. Mr. Amin holds a Certified General Accountant designation.

Al Kassam, Senior Vice President / Director

With the acquisition of Briyante Software Corporation in November 2003, Mr. Kassam joined Visiphor as Vice President of Technology & Development, Chief Technology Officer, and Director. Previously, as President & CEO of Briyante Software Corporation, Mr. Kassam oversaw the firm’s expansion from an R & D organization to a successful developer and marketer of data-sharing products in the North American Justice market. Prior to this, he was a co-founder and Managing Partner of Benchmark Technologies Inc., an IT consulting firm engaged in the development of custom software for business-to-business data exchange. Mr. Kassam has 24 years of information technology experience, including work as a Senior Consultant with Westech Information Systems, and several years with Computer Associates International. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia. A Microsoft Certified Professional, Mr. Kassam has spoken worldwide on the topics of disparate database integration and systems development.

Andrei Kossoroukov, Chief Architect, Director of Engineering

Andrei Kossoroukov has been with Visiphor since September 2005. An IT industry veteran, Andrei wrote his first computer program in 1974 and has since authored many dozens of publications, including books on C++ and Microsoft SQL Server. In addition to being a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCDBA, MCTS, MCITP), Andrei is an expert in the integration of software-intensive systems, managing metadata, and developing enterprise architecture solutions. Prior to joining Visiphor, Andrei held various senior positions in organizations providing technology solutions for the real estate and financial services verticals. Andrei holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Moscow State University.

Trevor Schmidt, Director, Information Technology

Mr. Schmidt joined Visiphor in August 2006 and has since held the roles of Senior Systems Engineer and IT Manager before appointed to Director, Information Technology, in May 2008. Mr. Schmidt brings a wealth of international managerial and technical experience to Visiphor, having worked for the Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) in London, UK, the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) in Johannesburg, RSA, and Royal Caribbean International (RCCL) in Miami, USA. In addition to his vast working experience, Mr. Schmidt brings a range of educational qualifications, including a diploma in electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. Additionally, Mr. Schmidt has attained numerous industry recognized certifications: Novell's Certified Administrator, Engineer and Instructor (CNA, CNE, CNI); Microsoft's Certified Professional, Systems Engineer and Certified Trainer (MCP, MCSE, MCT); and CompTIA's A+ and Network+ certifications.
